The Job:

As a key contributor to the Global Human Resources Team, this role will be responsible for administering the Workday HRIS system, managing projects and analytic reports. This person is the subject matter expert for HCM data, system/business process configuration, reporting, and data analysis.

What we can expect from you:

  • Assisting with Workday configuration including modules updates, business process/workflow setup and modification, security, etc. as determined by business requirements. Liaison with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and make system changes to processes
  • Supporting end users through analysis, and if necessary, re-creation of the issue to determine the root cause (i.e. system configuration, data integrity, network, etc.) and provide resolution to the end user. Based on the root cause, determine necessary changes to prevent recurrences
  • Troubleshooting and testing system and integration issues by identifying root cause and implements/oversees required correction to prevent recurrence
  • Responsible for preparing reports on data summaries, changes and trends for management as well for making alterations to existing programs to gather and report data as necessary
  • To provide support and guidance for troubleshooting system issues to other members of the team
  • To develop, review and updates system documentation in the event of changes or new implementation
  • Performing thorough problem analysis, including problem re-creation, resulting in resolution
  • Updating system documentation as necessary to include changes to system configuration
  • Reviewing submitted business processes for accuracy and approve/send back as appropriate
  • Serving as a Workday technical contact for regional HR teams

Job Requirements

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • Someone with advanced computer skills in MS SQL and MS Windows environment and software - specifically Excel, Word and Access
  • An individual who is proficient in creating systems queries, dashboard metrics, report writing and presenting data analysis
  • An excellent oral and written communicator s
  • Someone who can set priorities, meet deadlines, and handle a high volume of work
  • Someone with the ability to data mine/analyze and display information with high attention to detail
  • Someone with the ability to work under pressure to and maintain a positive and professional demeanor while meeting all deadlines, conflicting demands, and multiple priorities
  • Has exceptional organizational, time management skills necessary to manage high volume of activities and changing priorities while maintaining high degree of accuracy
  • Takes personal pride in his or her work product and is able to audit own work
  • Must be self-directed and capable of working with minimum supervision
  • Team player with well-developed problem solving skills and ability to take ownership of duties

You should apply if you have the following:

  • College diploma or University degree in a related field
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a Business/Financial Systems Analyst role
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in an analytical role with large datasets
  • 2 + years’ experience validating data integrity
  • Experience with a major HRM Platform (knowledge in Workday & SAP is considered an asset)
