The Role:

The V.P. Creative Content & Advertising (Head of Creative)  has strong leadership skills and is able to motivate a team to create and execute best in class content and advertising campaigns. You are a passionate Creative contributor with strong relationships in the Advertising and Production worlds.

As a positive, inspirational leader and mentor, you will help develop and deliver strategic, compelling, effective and FUN creative for all platforms. Understanding our audience is key and putting oneself into an 8 year olds shoes is part of the job.

Collaboration and Team Work is the foundation to success for this role, as such you will be a team player capable of working with all levels of management and cross functional partners.

What we can expect from you:

  • The V.P. of Creative Content/Advertising is responsible for directing the development and execution of all creative aspects of Spin Master brand’s marketing campaigns.  You will partner with the Head of Campaign/Accounts to ensure that all work is delivered both on strategy and time.  Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Creative Officer, you will push the limits of creativity and inspire the creative teams to deliver best in class, ground breaking, out of the box campaigns.

  • Direct and manage the development of all creative assets for individual marketing campaign including video, digital, social media, and other other assets deemed necessary per any given marketing plan.

  • Collaborate with Head of Campaign /Accounts and Cross Functional Partners to ensure Creative is on strategy while pushing the boundaries on innovative (out of the box) thinking

  • Elevate the creative output of your internal team or agency/production partners to ensure that all assets meet our high level of creativity, and innovation

  • Direct in-house and out-of house resources to ensure that campaigns are of the highest level of quality.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships across the company. Leverage those relationships to develop creative assets that benefit all partners involved.

Job Requirements

You should apply if you have the following:

  • 10+ Years of Experience in the Entertainment, Agency or Toy Company areas within a Creative Advertising Role
  • University Degree
  • Keen interest and understanding of Youth Market
  • Relevant creative and production team management experience with a major studio or television network, advertising/marketing agency or production company or kids consumer products company.
  • Creative inventor and innovator with the ability to articulate big and breakthrough ideas and concepts through assets that can effectively market our toys.
  • On set Produciton Experience
  • Creative writing skills.
  • Possess strong decision making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong creative and project management skills.
  • Ability to operate with significant autonomy and discretion.
  • Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects that are global in nature under extremely tight deadlines.
