The Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated Producer / Project Manager to help drive the Bakugan TCG on a contract basis. This is a multifaceted role which will manage ongoing game development with an external game developer, drive card art illustrations with an external art outsource house, update our plug-in tool as needed with an external software tools developer, and take point on initiatives and change management to improve results as needed. As part of the Bakugan team, you will interface with all parts of the organization to ensure efficiency, speed, and quality, in particular you will partner with Toy design and development, Brand, and Entertainment. If you enjoy keeping all of the disciplines aligned and working together smoothly, working in a fast environment where there’s always something new to learn, and having a major impact on a brand’s success, then this is the right position for you.

What we can expect from you:

  • Challenge the developer on big picture issues, narrow development choices to the one(s) that will deliver the biggest bang for the buck
  • Triangulate with Brand and the game developer on Toy-Card pairings
  • Write briefs and provide imagery for new card art that successfully melds Entertainment reference, toy reference, intelligent re-use of assets, and humor
  • Act as the first line of defense for Spin Master with the art outsourcer on daily art deliveries, insuring that they follow spec, are on point, and fit within the brand
  • Guide art through the entire development and approval process and partner with Packaging to insure their needs are met on a timely basis
  • Manage the tool developer through needed bug fixes, process improvements, and new features as needed
  • Stay in alignment with Entertainment on look and feel of characters, environments, and abilities
  • Design and create easy-to-consume reports to align all project stakeholders and escalate risks
  • Track and report on development key performance indicators, then analyze and propose ways to improve performance
