The Job:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition, this position will be responsible for providing hands on recruitment to the Talent Acquisition team within our Toronto Head Quarters.

What we can expect from you: 

  • Key driver of all corporate recruitment activity in Toronto including day to day management of contract recruiters, campus recruitment and external recruitment vendor relationships
  • Leverage core recruitment capabilities, delivering against recruitment mandates, using experience in sourcing, interviewing and selection
  • Partnering on global campus, intern and new grad programs
  • Responsibility for devising and managing the Spin master talent acquisition, social media strategy
  • Working with the Senior Director of TA for EVP and branding projects
  • Reducing overall 3rd party spend by adopting in house sourcing strategies and utilizing technology to advance the function
  • Build cross functional relationships to support all short and long term talent objectives
  • Work closely with the Senior Director, Global TA to determine “local Vs global” recruiting strategies
  • Drive process & continuous improvement within the TA function
  • Leverage strategic thinking, planning, innovation and improvement capabilities to address the recruitment needs of the organization
  • Administrative tasks including ATS Management

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive recruitment experience
  • You will have had involvement social media recruitment initiatives for other organization’s and have a firm grasp of social marketing to all demographics
  • Solid knowledge of hiring practices and employment legislation
  • Strong leadership skills to manage in house and 3rd party resources
  • The ideal candidate will have a good mix of agency and corporate recruiting experience
