Are you looking to further your career with an industry leading, global children's entertainment company?

At Spin Master, our unwavering commitment to open mindedness, integrity and innovation is a great part of what has made us an industry leader. How do we stay ahead of the pack? By hiring the best and brightest minds—and that’s why we want you!

What’s it like to work here?

Spin Master is a fast-paced, hands-on organization that provides many great opportunities for impactful decision-making; we are building a legacy and welcome individuals with a proven track record of driving results.

The Role:

The Sr. Director will be responsible for resource planning our contract 3rd party manufacturers across Asia (Southern China, Northern China, Vietnam, and India) and ensuring proper sales / STO order execution from the region to customers direct (FOB) and other Spin Master entities (DOM). Spin Master is defining resource planning as generating a facility-based master schedule on a rolling 18-month basis, working to rough cut capacity plan critical processes and labor requirements within production, managing raw material and work in process inventories (also known as EME), building the understanding between tactical resources and new product introduction teams, and assisting in identifying / closing additional production work & capabilities. On the execution side of the role, there are teams that manage Program Management (Order Entry) and Logistics (Both Export and Inter-Asia). This is a very dynamic role as we are in process of moving our main manufacturing base from Southern China (Dongguan) to Northern China (Jiaxing), Vietnam, and India. Because many of the processes and talent have been focused on Southern China, most need to be clearly defined and re-engineered to manage efficiently across a growing diversification manufacturing base. Therefore, the new processes must be designed with this context and a global scope. Reporting to the role are Sr. Managers of Supply Chain for Jiaxing, Vietnam, and India (3 Roles – Currently Open & Recruiting), Sr. Manager of Resource Planning (Currently Staffed), Manager of Improvement / Domestic Planning (Currently Staffed), Sr. Manager of Logistics (Currently Open), and 3 Managers of Program Management (Currently Staffed). Total of 9 direct reports. Total of 104 indirect reports. The role will report to the SVP, Global Supply Chain (Based in US) with a dotted line to the SVP, Asia Operations (Based in HK). The position is planned to be in our Jiaxing office as a base with travel within Asia required.
