A Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment Senior Analyst in support of the Spin Master Walmart U.S.A. business team.  Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position will play an integral role in collaborating with all levels of Product Supply (DOM/FOB demand forecasting), as well as participation in the Sales and Customer replenishment planning and forecasting level inventory needs. The CPFR Sr. Analyst’s primary accountability is to deliver the right product at the right place and at the right time while effectively managing Spin Masters Walmart recommended action plans to maintain store in-stock benchmarks.  They will also be required to demonstrate their analytical, negotiation, prioritization, and communication skills, along with their ability to work in a team environment. Further, this position will require experience in the design and implementation of policies and procedures, as well as consistently assessing operational needs, to achieve Company objectives.




1)      Report Creation and Analysis

  • Identifying issues and maximizing data availability (SAP, BI, Retail Link, GRS) to make recommendations that will benefit both our internal and external customers
  • Tracking promotions by analyzing Customer information and formulate recommendation to improve processes for the next activity
  • Populating all Customer reports on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Knowledge expert as it relates to the Customer Program/Systems
  • Independent analysis of all key metrics and relevant business inputs

2)      Monitoring Sales and on order levels

  • Working with WM’s DI and DOM Planning and Allocation teams to ensure the right stock amount is planned in the right place, at the right time while continuing to drive the business forward
  • Taking pro-active measures to minimize out of stocks
  • Analyzing store and warehouse flows to predict potential out of stocks and determine the best actions needed to remedy
  • Monitoring order patterns as it relates to ad promotions and pacing
  • Daily and weekly analysis and monitoring of all POS activity to develop the right forecast and shipment strategy
  • Analyze reports daily to identify issues that impact in-stock/inventory at both store level and DC to optimize availability and maximize inventory efficiency
  • Analyze past and current business trends and provide recommendations to Replenishment Manager and improvement opportunities; gain alignment on recommendations and implement findings


3)      Customer Business Team Involvement:

  • Providing leading knowledge to Customer Business Team members as it relates to inventory status and promotion results
  • Supporting the Replenishment team on new store setups, inventory analysis & case fill rate
  • Supports collaborative meetings between the customer, sales, and supply chain (30/60/90 day meetings).
  • Supports collaboratively with internal Supply Planning team on future inventory needs
  • Continuous collaboration and communication with domestic and international offices
  • Set and maintain budgets

Job Requirements



    • Previous retail operations management and organizational leadership experience
    • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or Computer Science is preferred
    • 10+ years related experience in Customer Service, Planning, Customer Finance, or Business Analysis, and preferably within the Toy industry
    • Computer Skills - Windows environment, Advanced Excel. SAP, Retail Link (and associated applications)
    • Ability to communicate with multiple levels within internal and external organizations
    • Ability to articulate issues both verbally and in writing, outlining possible solutions
    • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
