The Job:

The Sr. Analyst, Operations Finance role will serve as the finance business partner providing support to corporate finance and operations team. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager Operations Finance, this position will be responsible for product costing, variance analysis, internal controls and financial reporting. This is a dynamic hands-on role requiring successful candidates to demonstrate critical thinking, dealing with ambiguity and the ability to succeed in fast-paced environments.

Job Requirements

What we can expect from you:

Standard Cost

  • Set and maintain standard cost.
  • Troubleshoot costing and inventory problems that arise from daily operations.
  • Lead annual standard cost update for all externally sourced products ensuring material costs are accurate and up to date
  • Prepare, analyses and investigation of PPV variances.
  • Work with IT & operations to improve costing process and variance reporting.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly accruals relating to distribution and transportation expense.
  • Prepare month-end financial inventory reports.
  • Maintain quarterly inventory provision schedule for North America.
  • Preform monthly reconciliation of inventory for all North American Distribution Centers

Governance & Controls

  • Manage year-end physical inventory count adjustments, reporting and analysis for North America.
  • Lead the inventory section of the Year-end audit, act as liaison between audit team and supply chain group.
  • Ensure proper internal controls relating to operations are in place, documented and operating effectively.


  • Provide adoc support for corporate projects and initiatives.


You should apply if you have the following:

  • CPA or equivalent accounting designation.
  • Minimum of 3+ years preferably within the CPG/Retail industry.
  • SAP Experience and knowledge of data analytics tools is preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy with advanced level Excel skill (pivots, v-lookups and advanced formulas) are required.
  • Ability to manages multiple priorities effectively and act with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong self-initiative to operate independently.
  • Creative problem solving to business issues and is motivated by seeking process improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people at different levels within the organization
