Job Description

The Sourcing Manager, Indirect Sourcing is the European sourcing process champion and commercial leader responsible for managing and directing over $60MM in annual non-production spend supporting Spin Master’s locations throughout Europe and Russia. Primary spend categories include travel and related services, telecommunications, real estate, media, freight and logistics, and other professional and business services.  Primary internal business partners within Spin Master include leaders and associates from Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Finance, HR and Product and Brand Marketing. 




  • Aligning Spin Master needs with non-production supply base to include but not limited to the following elements:
    • Category strategy development
    • Contract management
    • Product / service qualification
    • Quotation preparation and negotiation activities
    • Productivity and cost reduction identification and realization
    • Global alignment and execution of strategies and supplier implementations
  • European Indirect Sourcing P2P Process Champion
    • Developing, monitoring and reporting compliance metrics
    • Ensuring compliance with global category strategy and supplier contracts
    • Producing and deploying supplier scorecards as appropriate
    • Sourcing and commercial expert with regards to category and supplier strategies; supplier selection; and commercial / contract negotiations


  • Lead and execute category regional category strategy development and execution


  • Prepares and presents monthly OPEX (operating review) updates as required.

  • 10+ years of goods and services purchasing experience. Experience in procuring non-production / indirect goods and services is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, account or engineering
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP
  • Expert knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay Process
  • Procurement / sourcing / supply chain professional certification is an asset
  • Experience with contract management and knowledge of contract law would be an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good financial and business acumen
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of other European languages is desirable
