Job Description:

The Job: 

As Senior Manager of Analytics, you will provide qualitative and quantitative analysis to key stakeholders to drive growth in the business. Reporting to the VP of Analytics, you will rapidly take responsibility in driving analysis around customer segmentation, marketing mix modeling, and POS lift. You have strong business acumen and enjoy telling stories with data. You balance analytical rigor with commercial pragmatism and will relentlessly bring insights to optimize our business today and plan strategically for the future.

What we can expect from you: 

  • Take ownership over all stages of data analysis: testing plan, data collection and shaping, model specification, visualization and communicating findings to colleagues
  • Conduct Marketing Mix Measurement, campaign analysis, program optimization, customer segmentation, ROI analysis, and predictive modeling
  • Perform analysis on market conditions and overall trends using third party data sources
  • Deliver analysis and commentary on the impact of marketing efforts on POS
  • Lead market analysis and forecasting discussions in Integrated Marketing Reviews and Planning
  • Develop standard KPIs for retail and market analysis in recurring reports
  • Coordinate analysis of marketing effort effectiveness with various COEs
  • Provide recommendations on data sources and tools to provide sound analysis and insights
  • Work closely with GBU brand teams to support growth and respond to ongoing ad hoc requests for analysis.

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • 7+ years experience working with data and utilizing quantitative techniques to solve marketing or business problems in CPG or Retail
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top school (preferably in a quantitative field)
  • Self-starter attitude with sharp business judgement
  • Ability to proactively identify problems and translate noisy data into actionable insights
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to lead discussions with audiences of varying technical ability
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with Retail Link, NPD, EuroMonitor, or Nielsen
  • Working knowledge of marketing mathematical tools and methods, marketing test and learn plans, ROI development and data mining/multivariate analysis
  • Expertise with at least two of the standard analysis tools: Excel, SQL, R, Python, Matlab, Stata, SAS, Tableau, etc.
  • Thrive on finding creative solutions and adapting to constantly changing circumstances
  • Familiarity with Data Warehouses, large databases, and an understanding of Dimensional Data Modeling for reporting purposes
  • Experience in digital analytics (ecommerce, social, mobile, etc.)
