The Role:

The investor relations role is a strategic management responsibility that integrates strategy, finance, communication, marketing and compliance with corporate governance to enable the most effective interaction between Spin Master, the financial community and other constituencies, to ultimately contribute to Spin Master’s securities achieving a fair valuation.  The investor relations officers is devoted to handling inquiries from shareholders and investors, as well as others who might be interested in Spin Master’s stock or financial stability, as well as devoted to pro-actively positioning Spin Master, its strategy and its investment proposition.

What we can expect from you:

  • Developing, implementing and managing the investor relations program.
  • Organizing and coordinating all investor meetings, road shows and conferences
  • Setting up an annual calendar of events to meet with the shareholders, potential investors and regular meetings with analysts (both sell-side as buy-side).
  • Communicating with analysts, investors and the investment community.
  • Resolving investors’ inquiries and developing corporate responses.
  • Conducting one-on-one calls/meetings with investors.
  • Creating presentations and other communication materials, i.e. fact sheet, business segment report, for investors.
  • Developing quarterly earnings call scripts.
  • Managing quarterly investor conference calls.
  • Drafting press releases.
  • Developing investor -focused Q&A.
  • Monitoring peer investor relations activities, including their earnings releases
  • Reviewing analyst commentary re: Spin Master
  • Revising and updating the quantitative and qualitative consensus monitoring report.
  • Reviewing the quarterly earnings materials (press release, MD&A).
  • Investor research and developing targeting initiatives.
  • Keeping track of investor base – including meeting tracker.
  • Shareholder analysis.
  • Managing the investor relations portion of Spin Master’s website including all online content.
  • Preparing reports to management and the Board of Directors that includes: summaries of analyst reports/updates, quantitative and qualitative analysis of Spin Master’s performance, peer to peer comparison, comprehensive competitive analysis, and the investment community's perception of Spin Master.
  • Ensuring that information about Spin Master is disclosed transparently, comparably, consistently and reliably.

Job Requirements

  • A great communicator with the ability to interact with senior management to collect, analyse, interpret and communicate financial and operational data
