Job Overview:

You intimately understand the ins and outs of video production. You’re a digital wizard who knows how to roll up their sleeves and give an audience the content they not only need, but also deserve. You’ve seen Big. And if you haven’t, you’ll watch it. You make kids laugh. You may even have a few kids of your own. You watch cartoons, read comics, and can race to the ruff-ruff rescue to hit a tough deadline. Job Responsibilities: 

  • Develop creative campaigns from conception to execution under the guidance of the Senior Creative Director.
  • Formulate, Pitch, and sell ideas to internal clients and work closely with art directors, producers and production companies to oversee development of creative content.
  • Write & Proofread for a broad range of print and digital content including: CPG, E-Commerce, Instruction Guides, Web Pages, Digital Video.
  • Provide Art Direction & Conceptual Notes to Storyboard Artist’s, detailing stage direction, set design, wardrobe, etc.
  • Create and own ideas through every step of production and post-production.
  • Support all of Spin Master’s brands and collaborate with Agency Partners to achieve creative objectives.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of Copywriting experience in-house or agency.
  • Experience in Toys and/or Children’s entertainment a plus.
  • In-depth experience in television commercial and/or digital video production.
  • Ability to translate brand strategy into integrated creative campaigns.
  • Strong sense of humour.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
