Job Description

 Job Responsibilities:

 

  • To provide a robust administration function for the Sales team including; sales data analysis/forecasting, stock control liaison, order chasing
  • To be the principal interface with the buying assistants/Buyers of key accounts dealing with any situation that arises as a result
  • To ensure the accurate and timely completion of the quotes and spec forms for accounts in the time limit specified by the customer
  • To ensure the timely preparation for customer meetings and previews

 

Principal Tasks:

 

  • Sales Support
  • Contact customers when needed (in coordination with the KAMs)
  • Contact with CSA and Logistics when needed
  • Primary contact  and responsible of the updates on salesforce (Credit Note, Accruals, etc)
  • Keep promotion track/customer/month/brand
  • Contact between MKT and China/HK offices for FOB quotations
  • Stock control
  • To provide a supportive role and a communication link between Stock Control and the Sales Team for all accounts
  • To chase stock control for orders as required in line with forecasts
  • Meetings
    • Preparation for meetings – Agendas, sales data, stock levels, presentations as required
    • Internal – Sales & Marketing and Stock Meetings
    • External – Stock meetings and account meetings as required to take minutes and to provide a suitably detailed contact report on the outcomes of the meeting, to include an action plan for either / both parties
    • To follow up action points to ensure achievement and closure following the meeting
    • Attend National/European Toy Fairs (Nurnberg, etc…)
    • Forecasting
    • Compiling of seasons forecast sheets
    • Assisting as required with forecasting
    • Analysing sales out data to assist with planned intakes
    • Chasing stock controllers for orders in line with demand forecasts
    • Selections
    • Produce domestic quotes, collating dimensions, images, and prices for customers as required.
    • Contact with Finance re: pricing and MOQ’s
    • Compiling of seasons listing sheet
    • Requesting of Price/Discount set ups as required
    • Samples
    • Work in conjunction with marketing to get stock, mock ups, images and samples to customers
    • Pricelist set up and coordination for CH – take the German version and prepare it for Switzerland
    • Preparation on all sell in presentations – use the German versions and update for Switzerland
    • Preparation marketing plans – use the German versions and update for CH

  • To analyse other promotional activity in stores and to recommend appropriate action to prevent the loss of opportunity

 

  • To be aware of retail product pricing and to communicate this to the marketing team as appropriate
  • To be aware of product placement stocking and to make suggestions to the Sales Team regarding the weighting of future ordering
  • To act as a point of contact for the sales team in their absence
  • To undertake any ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time by the Directors
  • To undertake any of the above tasks in an appropriately professional and timely manner at all times

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
 Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role in the CPG or Toy industry preferred
 Degree in Business, Marketing or related area desirable
 Retail Experience either at store level or retail planning experience an asset
 Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, Salesforce an asset
 Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
 Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, read POS reports

 Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, Salesforce an asset
