The Job:

As a Sales Coordinator, you will assist, support and manage the business activities and processes that help a sales organization run effectively, efficiently and succeed in the strategies, objectives and goals that have been established by the organization.  This position will work in tandem and in support of the VP Sales to achieve sales goals and objectives of the department, communicate and manage information and organize data to better drive results.

What we can expect from you:

  • Sales support as Swimways continues to expand in North America within the Spin Master infrastructure.  Coordinating, communicating and organizing data and information will be critical for success as we look to aggressively increase sales.  Cross-departmental communication is also important. 
  • Assist in acquisition/new business transition and management and the work needed to switch over accounts, pricing, information, sales representation and communication.
  • Create and implement process improvements within the sales department for greater results and efficiencies for the department.  This role also has the opportunity to take on an entrepreneurial spirit and suggest and create new ways of doing things within the department and GBU (Global Business Unit).  This role can look to create new and different responsibilities based on mutually agreed upon needs and areas of focus. 
  • Manage and filter communication, information and requests as well as prioritize and escalate issues that happen on a daily or weekly basis.  This position will be another point of contact for the Sales department (along side the Global VP Sales) and given appropriate decision-making authority.
  • This position will serve as a secondary contact, go-to-person while the VP Sales is in meetings, travelling, unavailable or simply another sales point person in the department so that the business doesn’t slow down with information flow, answers and best-in-class customer satisfaction.  There will be opportunity to learn more of the business beyond the scope of the job through establishing a working relationship, trust and decision making skills.
  • Managing relevant Planisware concepts (item creation and set up) that are needed throughout the year. 
  • Assist in the quote process within the department.  This will entail getting the appropriate documents to a point where it has the correct and needed information and is ready for the required departmental signatures.
  • Assist and help manage the sample ordering process so that the sales team (internal and external) get sales samples on a timely basis for sales appointments, meetings, shows, etc.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent coursework
  • 3-5 years experience in a comparable role
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • SAP 
  • Proficient in excel, Power Point and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Positive approach and willingness to be flexible to take on multiple tasks at once
