Job Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented and professional Sales Associate/Jr Account Manager with a proven ability to develop effective long-term business relationships and exceed customer expectations. Your key focus is to provide self-motivated assistance to the Account Managers and the USA/Global national accounts or distributors.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Developing bi-annual business plans that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needs. (i.e. Analysis of historical business)
  • Deliver product presentations, business proposals and ad plans to customers on time
  • Calculation & Administration of sales quotations and other documentation as required
  • Understand customers’ timelines and proactively provide them with all information and materials required to make decisions and manage business well
  • Work with support team to develop forecasts that best reflect market realities; update forecasts as required, at minimum on a monthly basis
  • Timely and effective review of actual performance to ensure goals are achieved and adjust plans as necessary
  • Assist in Management client-specific budget
  • Analysis of sell through data and market intelligence to maximize business opportunities while minimizing risk
  • Clear and efficient communication with customers; fast solutions to challenges. Manage order issues such as pricing, shipment, freight, units, proof of delivery while using the appropriate procedures and solutions
  • Exceed customer expectations. Work proactively and effectively with team members to deliver best possible customer service
  • create and execute on merchandising alternatives – visuals, planning, communication to all stakeholders to execute from China procurement through logistics and planning to retailer.
  • Execute Seasonal Plano-gram requests
  • Assist in the coordination of and set up of tradeshows
  • Some travel required

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Product/CPG

  • 1-2 years of Customer Service or retail store experience, preferably within a CPG company and a business-to-business sales environment
  • Hi proficiency/intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Excel, Email, Word. SAP skills an asset but not mandatory
  • Passion for Toys and Customer Service excellence
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong follow up skills and strong independent problem solving skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Retail, Consumer Product Goods experience preferred
  • Customer driven approach- a go-getter attitude
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
  • Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
  • Goal oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence & determination
  • Ability to create and maintain business presentations, excel files, read POS reports

 

Education:

College / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
