The Role:

The Regional Supervisor, Merchandising Operations Canada is responsible for the management of assigned merchandising teams, consisting of Sales and Merchandising Team Leads and Representatives in a defined territory.  The majority of the role will consist of team and people management accountabilities.  This is a decision-making role that will include being responsible for hiring, on-boarding and performance management of team members in assigned region. The Regional Supervisor will work closely with their team and communicate regularly regarding reporting/administration and tracking performance metrics to goals.

What we can expect from you:

  • Flexibility to work holidays, evenings and/or weekends as required
  • Available to conduct weekend product demonstrations and trade show events
  • Able to perform physical tasks for extended time periods, including the lifting of 40 lbs.
  • Available for overnight travel within Canada (may include US travel), based on the needs of the business
  • Access to a vehicle for business use and is able to transport goods to stores from time to time
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance coverage. Current provincial driving record will be required at hire. Please note that license, registration and insurance must be valid in work province.

Job Requirements

You should apply if you have the following:

  • 2+ years of previous leadership/management experience required, preferably in a Sales Merchandising role with a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization or third party merchandising company.
  • College Degree Preferred.
