The Job:

The Project Manager, Experiential has a passion for possibilities, creativity, big ideas and can effectively manage a multitude of projects while delivering on time, in budget and within strategy. This person is responsible for the development and project management of their assigned brands’ experiential event programs from concept to completion. Includes collaboration with brand, sales and trade marketing to design and create event concepts. Collaboration with media and creative CoE to determine content, PR and amplification strategy to help drive traffic and meet event KPIs. Coordinate deliverables across media to optimize value and ensure holistic integration within the brand marketing plan. In addition, they support program proposals, manage project status reports and provide event post mortem analytics. 

What we can expect from you:

  • Oversee and project manage best in class experiential events for assigned brands while working cross functionally to ensure amplification
  • Responsible for presenting experiential strategy for assigned brands based on brand objectives and budget
  • Creates and owns critical path for campaign strategy and product launch activities
  • Facilitate collaboration across the organization to surface and resolve issues related to initiative delivery
  • Spearheads project management for pre-event, execution and post event analysis
  • Works across assigned brands to ensure experiential plays a relevant and metric driven role within the integrated marketing process
  • Responsible for managing day to day communication with strategic agency partner – owns status calls, next steps, feedback and aims to maintain a strong agency relationship
  • Liaison with internal OR agency partner to ensure brand receives the appropriate amount of support
  • Responsible for working cross functionally to ensure experiential plans are shared amongst the CoE with an expectation to recommend thought starters for further amplification
  • Direct link between experiential and social community managers to ensure a consistent flow of information
  • Seeks opportunities to engage retailers, licensees, internal and key partners to further extend activation
  • Responsible for billing and managing provided Experiential budgets, and making budget recommendations based on holistic marketing plans
  • Expert in sample orders, and sample timelines
  • Maintains checklist for event collateral and suggests cost saving methods
  • Oversees server organization to ensure everything is being properly saved and archived
  • Manages yearlong calendar for key milestone event dates
  • Trained as a media spokesperson for local and assigned brand specific events
  • Expert in product demonstrations/product messaging
  • Responsible for cultivating relationships internally and externally to ensure our values are always being represented

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing or Business
  • 3+ year work experience – Experiential/Advertising Agency experience OR Toy experience is an asset
  • Experience in project coordination with proven ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities in a very fast paced industry
  • An ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Professional familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, with a passion for story telling through visuals
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint – SAP is an asset
