The Job:

The Process Excellence Specialist reports into the Manager, Demand Planning and Process Excellence, and is responsible for supporting various Demand Planning reporting activities, continuous improvement initiatives, assisting in standardizing the global demand planning from both a system/technical as well as from a business processes standpoint, and ensuring standard operating procedures and best practices are implemented across the Demand Planning team. This role will be integral to continuous improvement and project activities such as representing the Demand Planning department as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing various information streams and being accountable for analyzing and identifying solutions in support of Demand Planning related activities. 

 

 What we can expect from you:

  • Work closely with IT to define user requirements on all systems related to demand planning
  • Maintain the health of SAP IBP system by ensuring the data integrity of the system, as well as executing maintenance activities to optimize the system.
  • Perform system impact analysis, and user acceptance testing on SAP IBP and other related applications when business process changes
  • Provide user support and training to new users on IBP
  • Provide system issues root cause analysis and coordinating with IT on fixing the issues.
  • Assist in implementing department and forecasting process changes; drive continuous improvement initiative across region and global Demand Planning and across linked Supply Chain functions.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on all Demand Planning functions and processes, assist team in defining business requirements for internal and external projects
  • Support the Demand Planning team on developing 12-18 month unbiased and unconstrained demand plan

 

Job Requirements

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • Good understanding of the Demand Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, and overall Supply Chain processes
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and statistical knowledge. Understanding of multiple regression models.
  • Demonstrated communication, collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills - ability to analyze ambiguous data, determine key information elements, develop optimal plans, and recommend & execute action plans that weigh risks and benefits
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP IBP, Excel and Word.
  • Fluent in English written and spoken

 

You should apply if you have the following:

  • University degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Consumer products forecasting and/or supply chain operations experience.
  • Experience in and/or exposure to S&OP processes and procedures, customer planning and/or supply planning.
  • Experience with any forecasting application or supply planning software and SAP, IBP, DP.
