The Job:

As a member of the customer facing team the Order Management COE works closely with Order to Cash (OTC) sub-process teams and IT to ensure seamless integration and effective execution of the complete OTC process in meeting both Spin Master and customer needs. The Order Management COE helps improve individual capabilities and functional effectiveness by driving standardization of business processes, developing and providing related trainings; as well as providing critical application support across the Supply Chain function. The role supports base business change processes by helping define business requirements and collaborating with IT on supply chain related solution developments.  The role also provides leadership and support in driving out waste, promoting efficiency, enabling improved service offerings and cost savings for OTC related initiatives.  In the role the Order Management COE will provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support continuous improvements as well as major integration type projects.

What we can expect from you:

  • Act as SME as subject matter expert for OTC related Continuous Improvement and long term strategic logistics initiatives
  • Assess OTC operations, identify process improvements and lead OTC process Implementation efforts
  • Act as single point of contact leadership of business process development and implementation for systems related projects
  • Escalate/communicate service Issues to internal and external stakeholders on a timely basis
  • Responsible to provide clarifying business requirements to address process and system related opportunities, providing feedback on the design of proposed solutions and participating in the development and delivery of the solution
  • Development of change management plans and assisting in building all required testing; training and cutover tasks to support the stabilization of new functionality in post go live
  • Recommend ways to improve area operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.
  • Initiate and maintain regular dialogue with key stakeholders (e.g. Credit, Sales, Planning (Supply and Demand), Logistics) to resolve and prevent issues and to enhance mutual understanding of the order to cash process

Job Requirements

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • A day to day supply chain knowledge expert with a strong understanding of entire OTC process including logistics related systems such as SAP, BI/NetWeaver reporting etc.
  • A strong project manager with strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams, develop staff and work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • An analytical thinker with an expertise in change management
  • A multi-tasker with a proven track record of achieving high level results

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred in Supply Chain & Logistics or related discipline
  • Knowledge of customer service and supply chain principles and practices
  • Min 5 yrs.+ CPG/Retail Experience preferred
  • Experience with a Tier 1 ERP system (SAP) required
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Excel and Word
  • 3+ Years Team Leadership
