Job Overview:

 

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global IT, this role will provide infrastructure support through the identification, prioritization, and resolution of problems. Additional responsibilities include administration, maintenance and implementation of servers and network/telecommunication devices.  High proficiency with LAN/WAN, wireless networks, Windows networking which will includes Active directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS and Exchange is required.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Daily Operational duties

  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, WAN Optimization)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
  • Provide Level-1/2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Provides problem determination and resolution related to global infrastructure issues
  • Develops a working knowledge of the customer business needs to better provide technical support in the business environment
  • Records pertinent information about all incidents and resolutions in the IT Ticket system to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with Global teams for global IT support
  • Provides level 1, 2 and 3 IT Helpdesk support to local and remote offices
  • Manage vendor relationships for outsourced support services
  • Provides support for video conference issues
  • Assists with backend technology implementations and support
  • Manages day-to-day system backups

 

Desktop Image Management

  • Setting up Computer Systems/Laptops.
  • Software Installations/Upgrades for Users in Network.
  • Assists with laptop and desktop hardware life cycle management

 

Data Center Management

  • Administer onsite and offsite data centers

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

 

Required Skill Set:

  • Resolution of server related issues in a timely fashion; maximum response time of 30mins to all server related issues.
  • Timely response of Technical Support calls.
  • High degree of customer satisfaction with regards to work product
  • Consistent recording of tickets

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience with multi-site infrastructure support
  • High proficiency with Windows 2008/2012 networks, Windows 7 desktops, and Internet technologies, Mobile iOS, Android and Windows 8.1
  • Hands-on experience with Network devices (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Riverbeds & VPN devices) in a 7X24 support environment
  • Administration and management of Office 365, Azure and other cloud environments.
  • Systems Management experience using enterprise tools (e.g. IBM Director, ServiceNow, Microsoft SCOM and Microsoft SCCM)
  • Exposure to enterprise backup software for job scheduling and log checking
  • Exposure to Mass360, Citrix XenApp and XenServer, VMware, SAN infrastructure, HDI, HCP, Mac servers and Polycom video conferencing systems.
  • CCNA / CCNP/ MCP desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to follow problem through to resolution
  • Ability to perform in a team environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
