Job Description:

The Role:

The National Sales Manager is tasked with increasing the sales of responsible accounts by 8-10% annually and selling all brands (SwimWays, COOP, Aerobie and Kelsyus) as well as licensed product (Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Nickelodeon & Universal).   The sales responsibility will be both key accounts across the country as well as working with sales reps managing the independent dealer channel.  The manager will focus on retaining and growing the business while protecting and growing Swimways’ profitability.  The manager will work with a sales force (independent reps) throughout the country in correlation with the responsible accounts.  The manager will also work with the sales support department and other Spin Master departments in achieving all desired goals and objectives in a cost effective and profit-driven environment.

  • Create dollar goals for accounts then put strategic plans into place to hit those goals
  • Understand the primary objectives, goals and obstacles that our current dealers face and what actions need to be taken to meet their needs
  • Continuously improve relationships with customers, buyers, sales representatives, co-workers and any other key point of contact to protect and grow the business
  • Work with sales ops and accounting to make sure all the proper procedures are followed for day-to-day operations. This also includes joint collaboration with the sales rep force to tackle issues that might arise with accounts.  In addition, properly utilize the help of the sales support position and make sure all procedures are followed
  • Look for new, creative, fresh ideas to drive profit-driven results
  • Work closely with multiple departments to achieve objectives
  • Manage account specific items in a centralized database
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to operate a keyboard if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to travel if required performing the essential job functions
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 25 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Marketing background a plus


You should apply if you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s required with a concentration in Business preferred
  • 7+ years’  experience with sales territory and/or rep management
