The Role:

As National Account Manager you will be a detailed oriented professional with a proven ability to formulate sound business plans, maximize opportunities, manage risk, deliver on profitability goals, develop effective business relationships and exceed customer expectations.

What we can expect from you:

  • Development of bi-annual business plans that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needs.
  • Delivery of product presentations, business proposals and promotional plans to customers on time that maximize corporate goals, sell through and profitability.
  • Working with support teams to develop forecasts that best reflect market realities; update forecasts as required (minimum monthly) to maximize customer inventory requirements while minimizing excess risk.
  • Management of multiple corporate brands under Spin Master, Cardinal, Swimways, Gund and Sago Mini
  • Management of both accounts and key distributors that represent our brands.
  • Understanding of customers’ timelines and proactively provide them with all information and materials required to make decisions and manage business well
  • Timely and accurate set up of new items and maintenance of existing items
  • Management of client-specific budget
  • Analysis of sell through data and market intelligence to maximize business opportunities while minimizing risk
  • Clear and efficient communication with customers; fast solutions to challenges
  • Working proactively and effectively with team members to deliver best possible customer service
  • Working in a team environment, providing feedback and coaching to your account management team  
  • Attendance at mandatory biannual sales meetings and multiple toy fairs. 

Job Requirements

You should apply if you have the following:

  • College / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field

  • 2 plus years sales and account management experience.

  • Retail, Consumer Product Goods experience preferred

  • Bilingual (French) would be an asset

  • Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills

  • Ability to create and maintain business presentations, excel files, read POS reports

  • Strong technical skills & experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), experience with SAP is an asset
