Job Description:

The Manager, Performance Marketing will drive the development and execution of Spin Master’s Direct-to-Consumer Performance Marketing initiatives. This candidate must have experience executing, optimizing, and managing a variety of paid channels. This candidate will work closely with Spin Master’s paid media agency and will report directly to the Direct, Direct-to-Consumer.

  • Develop and execute strategy for all direct revenue-driving channels including: paid social, paid search, email, direct mail, podcasts, affiliates, native, and display.
  • Manage overall digital marketing budget and, in partnership with digital agency, optimize spend effectiveness and allocation
  • Define and analyze customer cohorts and insights to improve holistic growth strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally to own testing pipeline and strategy, both internally with our Creative team to produce assets and with outside partners on testing new channels.
  • Define and own performance benchmarks and establish analytics and reporting for these KPIs

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • Someone with a strong background in analytics and reporting.
  • You have startup experience managing significant annual growth and testing, building and scaling different acquisition channels
  • You have experience analyzing data in SQL (or are eager to learn)
  • Highly skilled in marketing platform; Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager, etc
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture while knowing how to execute it tactically

 You should apply if you have the following:

  • University Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or related field
  • 2-4+ years’ experience in content marketing, running a brand or ownership over growth.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment managing multiple brands and internal stakeholders
  • Experience with appropriate SaaS tools (Google Analytics, ESPs, keyword research tools, etc)
  • Growth mindset and a passion for learning and keeping up with trends at both a macro and micro level (cross screen, media, digital and social media landscapes)
