The Job:

The Facilities proactively ensures the efficient and effective operation of Spin Master buildings including utilities, HVAC, Security, cleaning, floor-plan design and construction.  The Facilities Manager ensures that the physical office and facilities and disciplines are in place to promote a safe and healthy work environment.  Additionally, it is expected that these responsibilities will be conducted with a customer service mentality towards all internal business partners and Spin Master team members.  The role has direct responsibility for our Long Island City facility in New York.  Additionally, the manager will have responsibility to lead and monitor the rollout and implementation of our SPIN SAFE OHS initiative.

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • Someone with Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations, and their impact to the business.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


Job Requirements

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Accounting software and other web-based applications. SAP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.While performing the duties of this job,
  • the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.  The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and smell.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
