Job Description:

Spin Master is looking for a Manager, Digital and Social Media Execution to help build in-house digital media buying muscle within the organization. For the first time we’ll be buying ads across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and others in-house, and need a pioneering team to bring this to life. The Manager will build this team from scratch and would own the execution and optimization of digital marketing plans across a collection of brands and products. From audience targeting and placement to creative optimization direction, the Media Execution & Optimization team owns the efficiency results of our digital media buys. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented and analytical, able to quickly understand and react to results to make the best spend decisions for our brands.

  • Lead a team that executes and manages digital marketing campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, with potential to expand to other digital platforms over time
  • Make recommendations on which audiences, formats, and platforms we should explore to maximize our reach and efficiency
  • Collaborate with media planning managers and agencies to create cutting-edge strategies to deliver on performance goals
  • Determine target audiences, angles, and positioning for various segments, products, and brands
  • Plan, and collaborate with the Creative team to build ads that drive sales for a variety of different products and segments
  • Analyze campaign data to determine what works/doesn’t work to optimize real-time performance and the creation of future ads. Report back to media planning managers, and brand leads to help them understand media optimization, and audience insights
  • Monitor media budgets and continuously grow efficiency
  • Partner with the analytics team to understand, improve, and report on performance

Who’s a good fit for this role:

  • Familiar with various digital marketing formats including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok
  • Strong team leader with ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Excellent communication skills including presentation, writing and collaborating with immediate team.
  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager, and the Google Marketing Platform
  • Experience developing creative ad testing strategies to improve on key metrics (CPM, CPV, etc…)
  • Experience with marketing automation solutions, and DMPs a plus
  • Digitally native with a learning mindset- keep up with industry trends and developments in digital marketing
  • Understanding of cross-screen video buying and how to maximize and measure unique reach across screens
  • Experience working in kids/toy and understanding of the regulatory environment around it a plus
  • Entrepreneurial approach and desire to build new models and practices. Comfort with ambiguity
  • Great collaborator with ability to work with various cross-functional teams

You should apply if you have the following:

  • 5-7+ years experience as a digital media buyer
  • Proficiency in all digital buying platforms
  • In tune with digital ecosystems, platforms, trends, topic and technicalities.
  • Demonstrated experience with running quick turnaround projects and understanding immediate needs and timelines.
  • Experience following marketing briefs and understanding brand goals
  • Experience with project management and review/approval systems is desired.
  • Experience at both agency and client-side organizations a plus
