Job Description


Logistics Analyst is primarily responsible for gathering & analysing data in area of logistics activities to indicate trends and outcomes for actions to be taken to drive desired results.

Reporting to Logistics Manager.


  • Defining, standardizing, recording and maintaining data structures for effective gathering using company tools.
  • Analysing data, monitoring trends and indicating variances to expected performance parameters or directions and goals.
  • Track & Tracing KPI’s
  • Modelling future scenarios using historical data and considering driver parameters.
  • Proposing corrective actions and driving the execution.

 Tasks and Duties

  • Order Reconciliation between company and 3PL systems
  • Customer requirements gathering, recording and setup
  • Inbound/Outbound/Inventory Position Forecast for 3PL providers
  • Month End revenue estimation based on available orders and capacity constrains
  • SAP parameters Setup & Maintenance (T-Zones, Routes, Transportation Times …..)
  • Gatekeeper for EDI between Company and it’s 3PL service providers systems / Issue follow up
  • Complaints Analysis, Correction proposal & Follow up
  • 3PL Invoice Accuracy Evaluation
  • Data Gathering and Reports Setup 


Job Requirements

Required Skill Set:

  • Excellent in Data gathering and interpretation skills
  • Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up
  • Advanced/Expert level of Working knowledge of Excel, (pivot, functions, macros)
  • Access / Power BI / Business Intelligence - advantage
  • Problem Solving skills with the ability to articulate issue with relation to current process and propose alternative solutions.
  • Customer Focus – achieving Company, department, and personal goals through a strong customer focus.
  • Very good communication skills are essential
  • Team player with proven ability to work well under pressure and CONSTANT deadlines

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Retail, FMCG/CPG background & experiences (5 Yrs +) and/or work experience in the Freight Forwarding or/and Public Warehousing Industry (3 Yrs +)
  • Knowledge of systems – Both enterprise (SAP) and warehousing WMS.
  • 3PL Provider management and/or working environment experience
  • Inventory Controlling / Stock Management experiences.
  • Experience in communication to external service providers.
