Job Description


Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) will be supporting the BeNeLux Marketing Team in marketing execution and promotional activities of Spin Master brand portfolio.

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Work with Brand Managers and International teams to gather all needed assets and requirements for marketing execution. The ABM must always be updated on latest development of the brands and product lines.
  • Work with Brand Managers and Operations to identify local needs – e.g. special packs, CDU’s, case size modifications etc.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing plans to deliver against corporate objectives.
  • Support Brand Managers and National Key Account Managers in retail previews and assist with development of Trade Presentation material.
  • Work with Brand and Account Managers to ensure that brand promotional guidelines are adhered to, while also assisting with the planning of promotional activities.
  • Support in ensuring that local TVC adaptations are completed on time and on budget and approved by Brand Managers.
  • Liaise with corporate creative teams to ensure that needed materials are developed and delivered in time to meet local needs.
  • Provide storyboard input to brand teams and corporate when required.
  • Work with Graphic designer on brand specific retail catalogue pages and help identifying additional local photography needs.
  • Work with Brand Managers to deliver strong E-commerce pages for brands.
  • Support brand managers and PR agency in the execution of PR plans.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • University or Bachelor Degree
  • Fluent in Dutch and English – in writing and verbally
  • Advanced language skills in French are of great advantage
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing/licensing/entertainment business
  • Advanced skills in working with MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiative and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines
