Job Description

General :
Responsible for formulating the brand’s long-term strategy and developing and
executing marketing plans;

Specific Responsibilities :

Brand Responsibility
- Responsible for the day to day support to the management of brand portfolio
Brand Marketing Planning
- Contribute to the development of marketing plans to deliver against corporate
objectives. Assist to the development of detail plans, above and below-the-line
- Work with GBU/International team to agree most appropriate ranges for
Switzerland and to relay specific local needs – e.g. price points missing, COGS
required, local packaging needs, etc
- Work with GBU’s and Operations to identify local needs – e.g. special packs, CDU’s, case
size modifications etc
- Work with Demand Planning to ensure that BI/SAP is phased in-line with brand financial
goals and to facilitate the running of monthly forecast review meetings with Sales
Sales & Marketing Planning
- Work closely with Sales organisation to deliver effective retail brand activity
- Present product ranges to sales and provide training early in the planning cycle
- Work closely to support Brand Managers and National Account Managers in retailer previews :
o Assist with development of Trade Presentation material to support trade
o Support presenting brands to key accounts/buyers during previews and at Toy Fairs
- Provide regular brand updates to sales during bi-weekly Sales and Marketing meetings
- Work with Brand and Account Managers as and when required to support brand
customer planning
- Work with Brand and Account Managers to ensure that brand promotional guidelines
are adhered to. Assist in the planning of promotional activity
Media Planning
- Support following activities :
o brief seasonal TV campaigns to media agency
o brief digital marketing campaigns – e.g. digital display, pre-roll.
o optimize campaign effectiveness – e.g. achieve cover and frequency targets
- Review and monitor TV planning with agency – to adapt/react
- Provide information to agency about availability of materials to support TX dates
- Monitor and record campaign invoices against media PO’s raised.
Creative Agency Management
- Responsible for ensuring that local TVC adaptations are completed on time and on
- Work with agency to ensure that all TVC’s are approved by “Clearcast” regulators
- Liaise with corporate creative teams to ensure that materials are developed and
delivered in time to meet local needs
- Provide storyboard input to brand teams and corporate creative teams when required
International & European Marketing
- Local brand contact for GBU’s and subsidiary marketing teams.
- Liaise with GBU’s and International teams to provide brand specific feedback, usually at
a detailed level on specific brands
Trade Marketing
- Work with Graphic designer on brand specific retail catalogue pages
- Work with Graphic Designer to identify additional local photography needs
- Work with Marketing Executive to complete catalogue copy master sheet
- Work with Marketing Executive to deliver strong E-commerce pages for brands
- Work with Visual Merchandising Manager (JT) to brief specific POP needs, fill
requirements etc. Work with Graphic Designer to agree creative look
PR Planning
- Work with PR Manager and PR Agency to develop detailed PR tactics
Additional responsibilites
- Supporting Brand Manager in other ad hoc tasks

Reporting Lines
The Brand Manager Assistant reports to the Commercial Director Marketing.
