Job Description





1.0 General :

Responsible for formulating the brand’s long-term strategy and developing and executing marketing plans;

2.0 Specific Responsibilities :

  • Manage all marketing activities including (but not limited to) licensing, promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research for a select group of brands, pricing, costing, profitability analysis, and SKU rationalization.
  • Manage product development of a globally-relevant toy line in a high-complexity, fast-paced environment.
  • Help to prepare new product start documents, product costing and turn over transmittals, packaging and product briefs.
  • Assist in administering the critical path analysis process, ensuring all time lines are adhered to, all details are properly recorded, and that all parties are informed of relevant information where required.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Sales, Planning) as well as with outside partners (vendors, licensors, inventors) both nationally and internationally at all stages of product development to ensure the smooth running of all projects under your care.

Brand Responsibility


  • Responsible for the day to day support to the management of brand portfolio


Brand Marketing Planning


  • Contribute to the development of marketing plans to deliver against corporate objectives. Assist to the development of  detail plans, above and below-the-line
  • Work with GBU/International team to agree most appropriate ranges for Russia and to relay specific local needs – e.g. price points missing, solid/assorted items, local packaging needs, etc
  • Work with GBU’s and Operations to identify local needs – e.g. special packs, CDU’s, case size modifications etc
  • Work with Demand Planning to ensure that BI/SAP is phased in-line with brand financial goals and to facilitate the running of monthly forecast review meetings with Sales


Sales & Marketing Planning


  • Work closely with Sales organisation to deliver effective retail brand activity
  • Present product ranges to sales and provide training early in the planning cycle
  • Work closely to support Brand Managers and National Account Managers in retailer previews :


  • Assist with development of Trade Presentation material to support trade previews
  • Support presenting brands to key accounts/buyers during previews and at Toy Fairs


  • Provide regular brand updates to sales during bi-weekly Sales and Marketing meetings
  • Work with Brand and Account Managers as and when required to support brand customer planning
  • Work with Brand and Account Managers to ensure that brand promotional guidelines are adhered to. Assist in the planning of promotional activity

Creative Agency Management

  • Responsible for ensuring that local TVC adaptations are completed on time and on budget
  • Work with agency to ensure that all TVC’s are approved by Brand Managers
  • Liaise with corporate creative teams to ensure that materials are developed and delivered in time to meet local needs
  • Provide storyboard input to brand teams and corporate with Brand Managers when required

Trade Marketing

  • Work with Graphic designer on brand specific retail catalogue pages
  • Work with Graphic Designer to identify additional local photography needs
  • Work with Brand Managers to deliver strong E-commerce pages for brands

PR Planning

  • Builds PR executional strategy, supports PR agency in the execution of PR plans

5.0 Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • University or Bachelor Degree
  • Fluent in Russian & English written and verbally
  • 1-2 year experience in marketing or entertainment field
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of PCs and software including: MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, coupled with excellent organizational communication skills, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiative and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines
  • A strong level of passion and willingness to be awesome
