Job Overview:

Reporting to Spin Master ( SM) Sr. Director of Marketing, International, this role requires someone who can develop, execute and flawlessly communicate effective brand strategies to all markets outside the US and Canada providing all support needed to promote International growth. This person will be the main contact to all related International (INTL) initiatives and the liaison among Spin Master, INTL marketing team, local offices and GUND. During the integration phase, the IBM, will be responsible to understand all aspects of the INTL business and work with all GUND’s departments and SM to incorporate/Adapt new processes, identify needs and gaps to create efficient flow of communication


  • Work with all cross fictional team from SM and GUND to make sure that INTL Markets are fully integrated with GUND. All existing processes are revaluated and adjusted and any new process that will drive efficiency and profitability are identified, documented and implemented.


  • Understand the International needs and market specific requirements such as additional MKTG assets to ensure any special needs are incorporated into the global Brand and MKTG strategy and product Such as TV commercials and Packaging customizations


  • In conjunction with GUND team develop and implement international only initiatives and opportunities for incremental revenue


  • Work close with the GUND’s NA MKTG team, SM COEs (Center of excellence) and local offices to support with all marketing activities an assets outside the US and Canada including (but not limited to) licensing, promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research, pricing, costing, profitability analysis, and SKU rationalization.


  • Utilize analytical analysis to identify specific driver items/category to meet growth targets while being region/culturally relevant. 


  • Be the liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Packaging, Sales, Planning) both nationally and internationally at all stages of product development to ensure the smooth running of all projects under your care


Job Requirements


  • Delivery of Global Marketing plans and Materials – on time and accurate delivery of materials to support the above two metrics


  • Schedule Adherence – communication of goals and strategy supports on time deliver of product for all markets outside of the US and Canada


  • Create and champion International opportunities– responsible for work together with the local territories to find additional opportunities for incremental revenue

Skills & Experience Requirements


  • 4+ years of consumer product marketing or brand management experience in a new product-oriented industry, preferably working with toy, entertainment, or other pop culture products


  • Experience working with international brands and retail distribution channels coupled


  • University or College degree in Business, Marketing or related fields preferred


  • Above average leadership skill to manage cross-functional team of non-direct reports.


  • Direct experience with the full product development cycle and production with a track record of thriving in a growth oriented and changing environment


  • Direct experience dealing with overseas development and manufacturing facilities


  • Understand logistics of moving product from factory to retail and the cost associated.


  • Experience managing multiple projects at once in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment


  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, coupled with excellent organizational communication skills, and customer service skills


  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiate and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines
