The Job:

The International (INTL) Brand Manager will be responsible for the development, execution and communication of marketing plans and effective brand strategies to all markets outside the US and Canada providing all support needed to promote international growth.  This person will be the main contact to all related International initiatives and the liaison amongst Global Business Units (GBUs), Center of Excellence (Marketing Support Teams), local markets and distributors in Spin Master’s network.  This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role that will require a top tier marketer with a passion for developing great toys and entertainment.

What we can expect from you:

  • Develop INTL Marketing plans when needed and translate existing brand elements into plans and go-to-market international strategies. 
  • Analyze and recommend implementation strategies to maximize sales of assigned product lines in international markets, while fully understanding the US strategy, marketing activation and rationale.
  • Work closely with Global Business Unit (GBU) and communicate all international needs for integration into marketing plans.
  • Manage projects related to (but not limited to): INTL line product initiation and financial validation, territory compliance, local website customization.
  • Support and help direct INTL marketing activities including (but not limited to): promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, trade shows, international market research, distributor business execution.
  • Continually identify sales objectives and work with INTL markets to achieve the objectives.
  • Work with INTL Asset Manager to ensure all assets are delivered and available for markets and continuously monitor feedback and assess customer needs
  • Oversee and manage the development and completion of new and ongoing marketing campaigns and advertising creative.
  • Liaise with International Marketing departments to ensure communication and execution of strategies are understood and all opportunities for INTL business are captured, while devising innovative strategies for growth.
  • Perform constant analysis of sales reporting, forecasting and strong financial analytics to define opportunities and draw valid conclusions

Job Requirements

You'd be a good fit for this team if you have:

  • Direct experience with the full product development cycle, with a track record of thriving in a growth oriented and changing environment
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
  • Working knowledge of production and manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Direct experience with a variety of marketing tactics from TV, print, digital and consumer promotions
  • Direct experience dealing with INTL brands and retail distribution channels
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, coupled with excellent organizational communication skills, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiate and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines
  • Passionate about creative excellence and willing to drive self and others to achieve “magic.”

  • 4+ years of consumer product brand management experience in a new product-oriented industry, preferably working with toy, entertainment, fashion, or other pop culture products
  • Strong analytical ability and data-driven thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred
  • Second language a plus
