The Job:

The Social Marketing Specialist contributes to Spin Master’s success by building a community of brand advocates and expanding organic social influence. This position supports the sales and marketing teams by increasing customer advocacy and amplification, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and increasing loyalty and retention. This position requires creative marketing and communication skills and technical knowledge of the latest social marketing tools and channels.

What we can expect from you:

  • Lead and manage customer engagement and earned influencer and social advocacy programs
  • Assist in influencer marketing strategy and execution
  • Research, identify, recruit and manage earned social influencer and brand advocates
  • Build strong relationships with social influencers through seeding programs and regular communication
  • Secure and negotiate earned placements including reviews, giveaways, video segments, etc.
  • Identify key customers (those that are organically talking about the brand, liking brand content, sharing brand content, commenting on brand content, conversing about the brand(s), conversing about competitor brands) that can act as a brand advocates and deliver customized customer advocacy outreach
  • Compose and send customer correspondence through social direct and indirect channels as well as email
  • Manage a library of up-to-date customer success stories, gain consent to share customer reviews and success on owned channels
  • Target happy customers for upsell, cross-sell, and advocacy opportunities; continually recruit new customer advocates
  • Craft quality pitches that effectively communicate brand message/ask
  • Measure results and analyze program success, benchmarking against previous campaigns
  • Administrative support as required

Job Requirements

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on communications, marketing, and business
  • 1-2 years of Social Media, Customer Relations, Customer Success, or Influencer Marketing experience at a consumer-focused company or agency
  • Technical knowledge of the latest digital and social marketing tools and channels
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy
  • Proficient writer; graphic design capabilities are a plus
