The Job:

A successful candidate would be able to analyze large qualities of data and be able to distill what’s important into dashboards accompanied by strong insights and recommendations that would help the marketing COE (center of excellence) team making decisions on marketing activities. This involves in-depth analysis of competitive brands, media activity performance, developing sales profiles, retailer segmentation and brand life cycles.

This role would also require the ability to utilize all data sources to develop an executive dashboard with clearly defined KPI’s that ladder up to business objectives allowing the Executive teams to make effective decisions.

What we can expect from you:

  • Identify actionable insights and provide recommendations for marketing optimization and budget allocation across marketing channels
  • Build basic attribution models for determining true drivers and impact of multi-channel/multi-touch marketing
  • Develop strategy for consistent metrics, reporting, testing, analysis, and forecasting to support marketing decision making and improve understanding of marketing performance for individual channels and across all channels
  • Partner with marketing agencies to gather and clean data, audit validity of data, develop naming conventions and manage automation of marketing reports
  • Present recommendations to senior-level executives and measure effectiveness of recommendations by monitoring their impact
  • Continuously evolve metrics used to measure the effectiveness and ROI of activity across all campaign types
  • Create and manage development of new data structures to capture data as needed

Job Requirements

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • An individual with the ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
  • Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people in an effective manner
  • Ability to present findings to senior management and display a comfort level in responding to any and all questions

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Bachelor Degree required (Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics or similar), Master Degree preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role (Marketing Intelligence, Analytics, Data Scientist etc.)
