The Job:

The Telesales Manager will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of Telesales Account Representatives to achieve and exceed company sales goals and individual quotas. Work with the Telesales Account Representatives to identify and cultivate prospective and existing customers, create outreach and sales messaging, and identify and close opportunities. Responsible to manage the activities and development of the Telesales Account Representatives and create a competitive, collaborative, high performance sales team

What we can expect from you: 

  • Ensuring the team meets the sales targets through performance management.
  • Instill a disciplined use of CRM system for forecasting opportunities, customer/sales rep interactions and customer management.
  • Manage and motivate the Telesales team to continually contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how specific products and promotions can meet these needs.
  • Document and report on customer needs while working closely with brand management to develop identify gaps in our product lines or upcoming trends that should be capitalized on.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and Marketing to develop and execute on campaigns that help ensure demand for our products via the right messaging and timely/relevant promotions.
  • Coach and develop Telesales team members by identifying, planning and participating in ongoing professional development for Telesales Account Representatives.
  • Provide daily, weekly, or monthly performance and analytic reports determined by executive leadership. This includes monthly forecast, pipeline, and other strategic reports outlined.

  • Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach, use hands to handle objects.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

 

 You should apply if you have the following: 

  • 5 + years of proven overachievement in revenue goals.
  • Solid track record of managing a team of Telesales Account Representatives creating a positive, productive and collaborative sales environment that ensures motivation and achievement of results.
  • Excellent analytical skills and developing strategies based on evolving data.
  • Demonstrated consistent tenacity and drive to achieve goals.
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce.com (or other CRM) and Excel.
  • Experience in a business development or cold-calling sales environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a startup environment, is preferred.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required to meetings/Trade Shows.
  • Must be able to work from Edison, NJ.
