The Role:

The Spin Master Mexico Field Sales Manager, will be a key contributor to Spin Master Mexico Team. The Field Sales Manager must be a motivated team player, highly numerical & analytical and possess strong communication and leadership skills. Responsible to lead his team in delivering sell trough target, distribution, visibility, and coverage targets within his area. The role of the Field Sales Manager is to lead and motivate the sales team, implement marketing strategies, and ensure sales targets are met.

  • Leading a team of sales representatives and coaching them in their respective field
  • Monitor and manage merchandisers within the allotted budget.
  • Liaising with upper management ensuring sales targets are met
  • Analyzing current marketplace and feeding back important market and competitive information.
  • Training merchandisers team on sales techniques, administration and product.
  • Planning, executing, and managing sales strategies
  • Responding to customer enquiries regarding point of sales needs.
  • Work with marketing team to deliver improvements in brand engagement scores across different territories.
  • Achieve the sellout volume area objectives, exhibition space and work plan of the promotion team.
  • Develop the annual promotion plan by store.
  • Search for additional and preferential exposure for all the brands.
  • Ensures excellence in the implementation of all instore activities.
  • Responsible of maintaining an up-to-date evidence book that includes:
    • Sales Achievements vs. Targets
    • Sales by Category/ Brand/ Territory
    • Productivity analysis for direct reports
  • Update market guides by category and brand.
  • Prompt submission of competitive reports by client.
  • Assists in setting team monthly targets in line with the potential of each territory.
  • Identifies the team members' development needs through field accompaniment and evaluation.
  • Build teamwork and healthy team spirit.

Job Requirements

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • Strategic thinker, highly ethical with strong leadership and interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In depth understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Experience leading and managing a team

 You should apply if you have the following:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in related position areas in mass consumption companies, preferable with highly seasonal products.
  • Four-year degree in a related field required.
  • High experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and familiarity with ERP system(s). Experience in SAP is highly advantageous.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • This position will require to be 70% of his time out on the field. Traveling will also be required (15% of the time)
