The Job:

The Direct-to-Consumer Creative Lead will own and execute a range of design projects for Spin Master’s DTC initiatives. As the Creative Lead this candidate will have have ownership over the look and feel of Spin Master’s DTC brand websites, digital assets, and customer experience. This candidate is comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously and has excellent organizational skills. This role reports directly to the Director, Direct-to-Consumer.

  • Develop and execute creative direction of all Spin Master direct-to-consumer brand, digital, and customer experiences.
  • Manage a multitude of simultaneous projects via designers, copywriters, and other content creators
  • Align creative direction with holistic business objectives
  • Maintain ownership over creative campaigns and promotions
  • Own prioritization of DTC related design tasks
  • Manage brand creative assets across all touchpoints (social, email, website, paid, etc)
  • Maintain brand consistency across all channels
  • Create and implement processes and infrastructure to drive efficiency, improve process, amd communication to create best in class creative
  • Own creative budget and ensure resources are being used efficiently and strategically
  • Initiate and own the development of KPIs for the Creative team

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • 3-5 years in creative role leading creative and design for a direct-to-consumer brand
  • Maintain a digital-first mentality
  • A strategic thinker/maker who understands the big picture while having excellent visual standards and attention to detail
  • A skilled graphic, brand or digital designer has designed beautiful brands, communication
  • Must be passionate about direct-to-consumer trends and technology and be an early adopter of change


You should apply if you have the following:

  • 5+ years strategic planning experience in a creative environment, direct-to-consumer or advertising agency experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully transforming brand strategy into creative strategy
  • Deeply familiar with channel strategies, including full funnel, traditional and digital advertising, direct response programs, email, website, mobile, search and social media.
  • Strong managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team
