The Job:

  • Work Seamlessly with the Design Leads and their team of multi-disciplined designers in the creation and execution of Innovative new Spin Master toys
  • Guide and Inspire Design staff to follow the schedule guidelines such that our products meet their schedule requirements
  • Work with Inventor Relations, Engineering, Marketing to establish critical dates for the team to use as guide to meeting schedule needs for each individual product.
  • Communicate Schedule needs with each individual Designer, as well as the cross functional team members.
  • Monitor their new product to ensure key Product Design dates are achieved and the correct deliverables are prepared and accepted by Development.
  • Partner with internal departments (PD, Safety, Marketing, Packaging, Sales) to insure seamless development timelines for each toy project.

  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiative to push projects forward under tight deadlines and cost requirements
  • Passionate about delivering the best in category product with the ability to drive self and the team to achieve timeline requirements
  • Ability to work in stressful situations while maintaining composure and focus on the goal
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Excel and Power Point
  • Able to adapt to new software platforms as our company grows and changes occur

Job Requirements

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Familiar with Spin Master Design culture and processes
  • Experience managing multidiscipline teams on complex projects
  • Computer Skills- MS office suite required, Plainsware a plus
  • Exceptional presentation skills with ability to create their own presentations
  • Demonstrate exceptional ability to effectively manage multiple people and projects while prioritizing work without missing critical deadlines
  • Four-year Degree with strong understanding of managing Creatives
  • 4 years’ experience in the world of Toy Design and Manufacturing
