Job Description

General :

The Customer Allowances Analyst is responsible for reporting, monitoring, advising and giving some guidance on customer allowances. They will very closely cooperate with the Credit & Collection Managers as well as Global Revenue & Contract Management team.

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Regular reporting of Commercial Trade Terms accruals against actuals/budget/forecast
  • Monitoring the trend of extra discounts and ensure reconciliation against provision
  • Tracking and Reconciling customer deals against deductions in the AR ledger and SalesForce
  • Analysis and reporting on the Defective rates, returns, overall claims and disputes
  • Work closely with Credit&Collection , Sales and Financial Reporting & Compliance to ensure proper support, flag major differences and discuss corrective actions
  • Work with Internal Controls and external auditors and ensure monitoring of deficiencies in the process
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports for management review.
  • Other duties as required or assigned

 

 

Job Requirements

Required Skill Set :

  • Excellent English communications skills (both written and verbal) and a friendly diplomatic manner are a must
  • Microsoft Excel, MS Office – advanced
  • Salesforce and SAP experience would be an asset
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to Multi-task & able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and multi task with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Motivated, energetic but especially detail oriented

Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • Strong Financial background (Financial Analyst), understanding of Financial Reporting, BS reconciliation, P&L analysis
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience in a mid to large sized company
  • Education: University degree
  • Specialization, field: Economic, Finance, Business
