The Job:

As a Compensation Specialist, you will help analyze and design global compensation and rewards programs in Canada, the US, Europe and Asia that attract, retain, and motivate employees. Through your support of a wide range of Total Rewards and Compensation processes, you will focus on data management, trends reporting, analysis and compensation and benefit program coordination and administration. Key areas of responsibility include coordination of annual incentive, long-term incentive, and base salary programs, executive compensation benchmarking and design, rewards administration, and support on international employee engagement initiatives.

What we can expect from you:

  • You will play an integral role in supporting the global compensation programs; annual merit increases, annual incentive plans, and long-term incentive plans.
  • Act as a key contributor to the development of creative Global Pay Structures in each region.
  • To help analyze and design incentive plan programs across the globe to align employee interests with stakeholder interests.
  • Collect, review, analyze and report (monthly and ad-hoc) on Human Resources data; provides commentary and gap analysis on trends.
  • Assists in coordinating the annual compensation review cycle by preparing spreadsheets, consolidating data, and preparing materials for Board reports.
  • Participate in and analyze compensation market surveys, ensuring accuracy while meeting submission deadlines. Conducts ad hoc market reviews for local and international roles.

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in support of data analytics, preferably in compensation.
  • Experience compiling complex data and creating accurate reports.
  • Experience with Workday and/or other HRIS systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) with proven ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookups.
