The Job:

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Customer Service/Logistics, the Chargeback Analyst will play a key role in the Supply Chain operation team, in the review and resolution of retailer customer chargebacks. The successful candidate will have the ability to evaluate the nature of chargebacks and provide guidance to a diverse group of stakeholders (order management, logistics, transportation, IT, etc.) to improve operational performance and minimize costs.  The incumbent will possess experience in collections of disputed chargebacks related to retailer vendor compliance programs and have the ability to organize information to evaluate cost drivers and cost savings opportunities.

  • Evaluate risks and opportunities from retailer vendor chargeback notifications (debit notes).
  • Work with outsourced service provider in organizing chargeback data and reporting tools
  • Organize information collected to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to provide data to minimize impact of service failures
  • Develop key metrics and reporting to evaluate chargebacks.
  • Collection of resolved chargebacks
  • Manage projects as assigned

Job Requirements

What we can expect from you:

  • Bookkeeping or related skills
  • Experience in Receivables and Collections
  • Knowledge of Mass Retail compliance programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Detail-oriented with emphasis on following up in a fast-paced environment
  • Interpersonal communication skills, relationship management and collaboration skills is a must
  • Ability to work independently
