Brand Manager (BM) will be part of the BeNeLux Marketing Team working on marketing execution and promotional activities of Spin Master brand portfolio.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage own brands to exceed annual corporate goals – e.g. revenue, margin, market share, consumer demand. 
  • Develop long term brand equity for your key brands through a hands-on approach to managing your brands’ forecasting, SKU management, retail activity and TV placement (where appropriate). 
  • Develop and manage consumer marketing campaigns (above-the-line) within agreed budgets
  • Work closely with relevant marketing agencies to develop marketing plans and with PR agencies on the execution of PR plans.
  • Where appropriate, work closely with licensors.
  • TLP Management. Manage mix/pricing to achieve annual financial objectives. 
  • Forecasting – closely work with Supply/Demand Planners and Sales Team to review and implement regular (minimum monthly) changes as part of Forecasting Reviews.
  • Produce tools necessary to support Sales Team on a regular basis – such as range plans, external TV plans, brand promotional guidelines.
  • Toy Fairs – on the the members of the wider team responsible for managing attendance at different Toy Fairs. Responsible for ensuring that your brands are well represented

Job Requirements

Required Skill Set:

  • Strong marketing skills – experience of developing and delivering strong marketing plans.
  • Result driven – strive to exceed the goals. 
  • Creative thinking and proactive approach.
  • A team player able to work across departments (e.g. sales, marketing, finance, planning) and with external stakeholders (e.g. retailers, licensors).
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple competing demands.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fluent in Dutch and English – in writing and verbally.
  • Degree Educated with marketing/business qualifications (preferably). 
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant marketing experience – ideally in the Toy Industry or other kid-related industries (for example toy retail or kid licensing - marketing/licensing/entertainment business).
  • Advanced skills in working with MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiative and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines
