The Spin Master Brand Manager, will be a key contributor to Spin Master Mexico and the global Marketing Team. The Brand Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of brands ensuring their success in Mexico.   In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing and analyzing for core brands within Spin Master portfolio. You will manage brand planning and communication, media, brand cycle plan, in-store activation development, come up with trade promotional activities, and new product launches. You will liaise with various departments on strategies to increase visibility of the products and achieved business objectives.


  • Prepare the annual marketing plans for their assigned brands and their budget control.
  • Plan and support all marketing activities including (but not limited to) promotions, advertising, media production, digital strategy, package, brand construction, public relations, trade shows, market research , pricing, cost, profitability analysis, and SKU rationalization for brands.
  • Permanent market analysis (POS data, internal reports, sell out/sell in, competition) to support action plans.
  • Design and Implement pricing strategies that maximize brands profits.
  • In conjunction with Sales, work closely with customers to understand market dynamics and continually refresh category SWOT and competitive analysis.
  • Participate in sales presentations for clients and provide sales tools supporting successful sell in of one or more brands.
  • Establish the portfolio strategies by client with sales department, as well as annual support activities planning.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Finance, Sales, Planning, and Trade Marketing) and outside partners (vendors, licensors, agencies) to ensure the plans of your brands get executed correctly.
  • Develop pipeline of next generation products that will generate growth for the designated group of brands.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of global strategies for their local implementation, as well as the delimitation of every necessary adaptation.
  • Analyses and evaluates implementation of key plans and activities on business and brand equity.    

Job Requirements

Required Skill Set:


  • Ability to balance solid strategic thinking and flawless execution in a fast-paced environment. In-depth understanding of the company’s current products and future concepts
  • Excellent organization and project management skills, outstanding written and oral (both English and Spanish) communication skills, ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and adhere to deadlines.
  • Should be a team player, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to develop strong relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Proactive, self-starter with ability to work independently. Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems and maintain grace under pressure.
  • Manage working under pressure

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in international marketing management with proven success at developing and executing product launches and managing major brands – toy industry experience a plus
  • Must have broad experience and understanding of all facets of the marketing discipline including market research, product positioning, pricing, promotions, budget control, sales and distribution.
  • Experience managing multiple brands at the same time desirable
  • Four-year degree in a related field required; MBA highly desirable.
  • Passion for pop culture and entertainment a must
