The Job:

This opening is for a Brand Manager role in Spin Master’s LA office. As a member of our Boys Global Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading brand marketing and product development for various new Boys brands in the US and partnering with International for their marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role with the reward of being able to own the decisions and outcomes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all marketing activities including (but not limited to) TV, digital, eComm, grass roots, promotions, advertising, media production, public relations, trade shows, and market research
  • Manage product development of a globally-relevant toy line in a high-complexity, fast-paced environment
  • Own the P&L including management of pricing, costing, profitability analysis, and SKU rationalization
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure all time lines are adhered to, all details are properly executed, and that all parties are informed of relevant information where required
  • Collaborate with international market, sharing marketing plans and ideation, and developing assets for global use
  • Act as voice of brand during all key meetings, from large internal updates to small buyer gatherings

Job Requirements

What we can expect from you:

  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize work without missing critical deadlines
  • Ability to both adapt to and mange changing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels and motivations within a team environment
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of PC software including Excel and PowerPoint

Who’s a good fit for this team:

  • Someone with proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiative and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines
  • An individual with flexibility to travel to Toronto headquarters, global toy fairs, local buyer meetings and international market visits.

You should apply if you have the following:

  • 3+ years of consumer product brand management and/or agency experience.
  • College degree in Marketing
  • Experience in a frequent new product development-oriented industry, such as fashion, toy, tech and entertainment, is preferred but not required.
