 Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support all marketing and brand activities, including (but not limited to): licensing,promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research, scheduling, creative briefing, testing, pricing, costing, product development, profitability analysis, and SKU rationalization
  • Assist in development of brand strategies and execute plans on new and existing brands in conjunction with Brand Managers
  • Oversee both industry and public facing trade shows from planning to execution; Present new product launches to internal sales team and retailer partners
  • Liaise with cross-functional partners (design, content design, engineering, packaging) throughout the product development process in coordination with respective cross-divisional brand teams.
  • Lead research and analysis for the business unit including pricing, costing, profitability analysis, digital marketing analysis, competitive, and sales analysis
  • Support category and consumer research by helping to develop research materials and product samples
  • Participate and support in procuring content, research, data, and materials for new business pitches and other corporate initiatives

Job Requirements



 

 Preferred Skills & Experience

  • University degree in related field or relevant experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs required (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc)
  • 2-5 years of consumer product brand management experience in a new product-oriented industry, preferably working with toy, entertainment, fashion, electronics, or other pop culture products OR licensing and entertainment experience.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills and ability to analyze business trends, financial metrics, and sales data
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to both adapt to and mange changing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. Must be resourceful and an independent thinker
  • Should be comfortable with public speaking and presenting in front of large groups
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels within a team environment
  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiate and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines
  • Passionate about creative excellence and willing to drive self and others to achieve “magic.”
  • Domestic and International travel required at times
