Job Description

General :

Marketing Executive (ME) is supporting the Marketing Manager (Pre-School, Girls) and Brand Manager (Activities) during a defined period for a maternity leave. They assist on duties as required and support UK Marketing team.

Trade Marketing

  • Ecomm strategy - Work with key accounts to ensure that brands are set up and displayed with appropriate branding, photography, content and copy.

  • Amazon AW19 Marketing - Work with the appropriate Sales contact to co-ordinate the integration and development of Amazon Marketing – working with Media agency to facilitate
  • Maintain Spin Master’s image bank requirements with the help of the Marketing Intern. Images to be used for consumer print advertising, trade catalogues and on-line retailer sites. Manage the authoring of images across the different available platforms (local drive, global intranets).
  • Support the Sales and Marketing team with the supply of information and data such as product thumbnails, catalogue copy and features/benefits with the help of the Marketing Intern.  Most of the information is available on a global level, but will need to be edited and managed on an appropriate local level 
  • Toy Fair and UK Showroom.  The ME will work with the Marketing Intern and TME, brand Managers and PR Manager to plan and exhibit at the UK Toy Fair (January) and within the UK office showroom facilities. Exact responsibilities will be agreed for each project as part of the planning process for each event and will be overseen by the TME.

Brand Management

  • Potential to take direct brand responsibly for Twisty Petz (supported by MM) – at an appropriate point in time (to be agreed). Use brand experience as an opportunity to build hands-on knowledge of:
      • TLP management and pricing
      • Forecasting Reviews and Planning
      • Working with Sales to present ranges in VIP previews to key retailers
      • Media planning – e.g. TV and Digital
      • Developing appropriate Visual Merchandising, Ecomm and PR plans.
  • PAW Patrol
  • Support Marketing Manager on maintaining a strong relationship with Nickelodeon
  • Retail planning and execution
  • Provide support for line manager (MM) on a day to day basis, as required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant experience preferably in the Toy Industry of at least 2 years+. Experience gained in or through a combination of supplier and/or retailer.
  • Degree Educated with marketing/business qualifications (preferably). Marketing qualifications could include Degree, Diploma in Marketing (DipM) or other recognized marketing qualifications from the UK or overseas.
