Job Description:

The role exists to administer credit, provide assistance to the Credit and Collections department with deductions management and assist the Vendor Contract Compliance Analyst, as well as other AR related tasks. The candidate will be key contributor to the Toronto Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections Team. 

What we can expect from you:

  • Process credit and debit memos within the approval process.
  • Reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis
  • Review and resolve issues related to customer deductions by working with the Credit and Collections department and Vendor Contract Compliance Analyst
  • Follow up promptly on A/R inquires from other areas of the company
  • Answer customers’ inquiries promptly and efficiently
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports for management review.
  • Other duties as required or assigned

Who's a good fit for this role:

  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, especially Excel
  • SAP experience is a must
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and a friendly diplomatic manner are a must
  • AR and deductions resolution experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to Multi-task & able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and multi task with accuracy and attention to detail

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Related College diploma preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years related experience in a mid to large sized company
  • AR and deductions resolution experience in Packaged Goods Industry
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office and an enterprise reporting system
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and a friendly diplomatic manner are a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to Multi-task
