Job description, responsibilities and duties

Perform AP tasks for several Spin Master International countries (Germany, Netherlands, Slovakia, Czech Republic) according to agreed timelines and in compliance with procedures.

Reports into the AP Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the accounts payable process for Spin Master Int. including vendor set up in SAP
  • Posting invoices, dealing with multiple country tax codes
  • Analyzing and paying employee and credit card expenses
  • Auditing import tax charges and liaise with logistic team
  • Setting up payments using online banking and liaising with group treasury, and ensuring all payments are correctly authorized and processed
  • Providing assistance for the purchase order process and periodically monitor and review
  • Preparing and analyzing the month end journals including accruals
  • BOA posting of expenses and administrator to reset users
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT and corporate tax reporting
  • Assisting with audit and other statutory reporting requirements
  • Other ad hoc tasks


Job Requirements

4.0 Required Skill Set:

  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, Excel in particular, knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Initiative and attention to the details.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) in English and a friendly diplomatic manner are a must.
  • Ability to Multi-task.
  • Works well with a team or independently.

5.0 Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Related University or College qualification
  • 1 year experience in Finance
  • Experience with Consumer Goods/ Retail Industry would be an advantage.
