The Job:

As a Project Manager in Packaging, you must possess meticulous organization skills, to support the design team daily coupled with the appreciation of working in a creative and productive environment. A natural problem solver, as it pertains to managing workflow in a creative setting. Reporting to VP of Packaging, the Project Manager will improve and manage the Project Management process of the Packaging Department. The ideal candidate will interact with various internal departments such as engineering, product design, quality assurance, and marketing to ensure the completion of project milestones.

What we can expect from you:

  • Delegate team workload, track schedules, hours and milestones on a weekly basis.
  • Complete understanding of milestone process/timeline as it effects the packaging process.
  • Provide support to packaging team members regarding assets for projects.                         
  • Lead the planning and implementation of each project.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate project staff.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Recognize areas for internal improvement and develops plans for implementation.
  • Manage samples for packaging photography.

Job Requirements

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and SAP an asset.
  • Experience in project coordination for packaging design/production.
  • Proactive thinker and problem solver
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to deal with changing priorities
  • Ability to finish a project on time
  • Positive and strong personality
