Job Description

One of Spin Master’s key strategies is to Develop and License Global Entertainment Properties. The Licensing Team is responsible for helping deliver this strategy and working with the leading IP owners around the world to grow revenues for Spin Master and our Licensor Partners.

The Licensing & Franchise Manager, EMEA will be the day to day contact for the Licensor and the central keeper of all data from Spin in the region, providing regular updates on their brand’s business.  In addition the role is responsible for ensuring our local sales and marketing teams have the latest brand information from the Licensor in order for projected sales revenue to be achieved.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Work with the GBU to share product development updates with the Licensor’s regional team and ensure regional feedback is considered/addressed within the timeframes required.
  • Coordinate communication and formal updates both internally and externally with the Licensor.
  • Central location and keeper of all brand information by market, including; product range, marketing plans, retail listings and share regularly or as needed by Licensor.
  • Provide regular POS reports
  • This role will have a particular focus on Spain to support the local distributor and our 3rd party sales team
  • Provide timely and accurate reports as required and agreed with Licensor

  • Some travel maybe required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Min of 5 years of experience with significant time in a brand, marketing, franchise, licensing or strategic role.
  • Proven experience and success in a Knowledge of the Entertainment and Consumer Products landscape – such as TV, Film, Comics, Publishing or similar related industries
  • Experience in strategically planning franchise road maps
  • Language skills, particularly Spanish would be advantage but not a necessity
