The Job:

In this role, the EDI Administrator is responsible for the coordination, development, testing and trading partner implementations of the organization's global Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.

 

What we can expect from you:

  • The EDI Administrator resolves issues from production and procedures, to ensure that business continuity is maintained and properly executed.  This includes development, change requests and enterprise integration projects.
  • The EDI Administrator will act as key liaison between Spin Master end users, the IT staff, and the EDI trading partners’ technical resources. 
  • The EDI Administrator will need to manage the ticketing system to ensure tickets are completed on a timely manner.
  • The EDI Administrator will be self-motivated, detail oriented, be able to think outside the box, and possess good time management as well as strong problem resolution skills.
  • Deliver EDI projects on time and on budget.

You should apply if you have the following:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing EDI implementations with a global CPG company.
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers, vendors and users
  • Hands-on experience with SAP interfaces including EDI and SAP IDOC
  • Good understanding of the order to cash flow business process
  • Good understanding of the EDI shipping process with the 3PL
  • Analyze, design and develop specifications for enhancements and extensions to electronic data interchange application interfaces and maps
  • Support business departments involved in EDI
  • Take part in the development of new EDI transactions or interfaces
  • Define functional and technical specifications
  • Develop new mapping for EDI transactions
  • Design test scenarios and perform the appropriate tests
  • Configure the various partners in SAP and other systems
  • Take part in the SAP implementation projects 
  • Take part in meetings of the project team
  • Keep documentation up-to-date
  • Experience with Gentran Server preferred
  • Experience with other applications and interfaces (B2B, B2C, Cloud) is an asset
  • Good computer skills – (MS-Office, email)
  • Fluent English is a must, French is an asset.
